Payouts are the scheduled transfers that move your accumulated funds from your Swipe Aras balance account to your bank account.
Customer pays — Funds from authorized, captured payments accumulate in your store's Adyen balance account
Settlement delay — Funds are held for T+N days (your agreed settlement delay) to account for potential chargebacks or returns
Payout sweep — On the sweep schedule, funds transfer from your balance account to your verified bank account (Transfer Instrument)
Bank receipt — Funds arrive in your bank account; timing depends on your bank's processing
A sweep is an automated transfer rule on your Adyen balance account. Swipe Aras creates two sweeps for your account during the approval process:
Sweep Type | Direction | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
Push sweep | Balance account → Your bank | Regular payouts on your settlement schedule |
Pull sweep | Your bank → Balance account | Top-up, if needed to cover obligations |
You don't manage sweeps directly — Swipe Aras configures and owns them.
All payout amounts are in the default currency of your balance account (set at account creation, cannot be changed)
If you process transactions in multiple currencies, see Reference → Multi-Currency Architecture for how currency-specific payouts work
All payouts are visible in your dashboard under the Payouts section, including the payout amount, status, and associated date.
