Payout Schedule & Settlement Delay

Your settlement delay (sometimes called T+N) determines how many days after a payment is captured before those funds become available for payout.

Your settlement delay (sometimes called T+N) determines how many days after a payment is captured before those funds become available for payout.

What Is T+N?

T+N means the funds from a transaction settle N days after the transaction date (T). For example, T+2 means funds captured on Monday are available for payout on Wednesday. The settlement delay exists to:

  • Cover the risk window for chargebacks and ACH returns

  • Allow time for Adyen to complete the financial settlement process

Your Settlement Delay

Your specific T+N delay is set during account setup based on your business type, industry risk profile, and agreement with Swipe Aras. Contact your account manager if you have questions about your settlement timeline.

Payout Schedule

Payouts run on a cron-scheduled basis tied to your T+N window. Funds that have cleared the settlement delay are swept to your bank on each scheduled run.
