After you complete hosted onboarding, your account enters the Swipe Aras approval queue. Here's exactly what happens.
Adyen notifies Swipe Aras that your verification documents have been submitted and reviewed
Swipe Aras reviews your account — verifying your business information and confirming all capabilities are valid on the Adyen side
An admin approves your account — this triggers the approval job which activates your account
Your balance account is activated and both your payout sweep (push) and top-up sweep (pull) are created automatically
Your account status changes to Active and you receive a confirmation
Approval typically takes 1–3 business days after all documents are verified. The actual Adyen verification (Step 1) can take up to 1–3 business days on its own — the Swipe Aras review step is generally same-day once Adyen confirms.
When your account is approved, Swipe Aras automatically:
Activates your Adyen balance account
Creates a push sweep — the scheduled transfer from your balance account to your bank (payout)
Creates a pull sweep — a top-up sweep from your bank to your balance account if needed
You don't need to configure any of this yourself.
If your account is not approved within 3 business days, contact your account manager. Common reasons for delays include:
Outstanding document verification with Adyen
Additional KYC information required
Compliance review for specific business types
