Recurring fees are periodic charges for Swipe Aras platform services, billed monthly or annually. They are separate from per-transaction fees.
How Recurring Fees Are Billed
Billing is either monthly or annual — no other billing cycles are supported
Fees are collected via Adyen's Transfer API: funds move directly from your Adyen balance account to the Swipe Aras platform account on the billing date
Recurring fees are not deducted from your next payout — they draw from your current balance
A maximum of 5 fees can exist in a recurring fee group
What Recurring Fees Cover
Recurring fee line items vary by account. Common examples:
Monthly platform access fee
Service tier fee
Additional store fee (for accounts with multiple stores)
Compliance or reporting service fee
Your specific recurring fees are itemized in your agreement and on your monthly statement.
What Happens If Your Balance Is Insufficient?
If your balance account has insufficient funds to cover a recurring fee on the billing date, the fee collection may fail. In this case, Swipe Aras will attempt to collect the outstanding balance on your next billing cycle. Contact your account manager if you anticipate insufficient funds.
Recurring fees appear in your account activity (not the Payment Ledger, which is for transaction fees only).
